Leah and Nathan's Fairytale Wedding at Old English Inn

We are beyond excited to blog this beauty of a wedding and it’s about time! From day one we knew Leah and Nathan’s wedding was going to be a true fairytale come to life. They were a dream to work with, both very busy entrepreneurs with a love for pizza..how could we not love them?! From the beginning they said they wanted to stray from the traditional and create a fun day that their guests will never forget and as their full wedding planners that was exactly what we intended to give them. We were able to take their ideas and come up with the full design and structure of the wedding. Seeing it all come together and hearing the brides words “Thank you again for making all of our dreams become a reality, I can't imagine it being any more perfect than it was. We will be forever grateful!!” was truly rewarding and exactly why we love what we do.

The English Inn was the perfect setting for this flower filled, whimsical affair. We enlisted the help of the talented Tina from Platinum Floral Design to bring our vision to life and man, she nailed it. We had flowers strung from the tent including a large wreath in the centre. Large blooms floated in the pond and edible blooms accented the ice cubes. The bouquets were incredible and filled with stunning coral peonies and other romantic garden blooms. The ladies floral crowns were on point and perfectly completed their look.

The ceremony space featured an eclectic array of furniture pieces to create a unique and comfy space for the guests. We designed a large geometric backdrop with flowers to accent and had stock blooms hanging from the trees. Did we mention the groom had flowers in his beard?

Throw in a caricature artist for the cocktail hour, a grilled cheese food truck, self serve donut and tea station and this wedding was anything but ordinary. With Kari Burgess of Eternal Reflections and Capture the Moment Media behind the lens we ended up with a stunning wedding that is currently being feature in Today’s Bride magazine. We are also so honoured to say that we won the Vancouver Island Wedding Award for Best Wedding Design! Needless to say, we love Nathan and Leah and were honoured to be a part of their special day.
